Padmavathi College Of Pharmacy, established in 1992, is approved by the government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University. It is recognized by the Pharmacy Council Of India and The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Sri Govinda Gounder Memorial Educational Trust, the first one formed by the chairman Mr. M.G. Shekar B.A. B.L., a great educationist has started Padmavathi College of Pharmacy under the G.O.N.S.N.O 1368 health and family welfare departments official communication dated 21.02.1992. Dr. M.G.R Medical University Chennai pcroeedings No1211/affil (2) 93 dated 18.06.1994 and is subsequently approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi Ref No. 730-52-019 (A) IET/96 and Pharmacy Council of India New Delhi 68/PC/1277.
